A Polish woman named Marta shelters her husband’s daughter. She has fled the war in Ukraine. A close connection arises between the two women: Marta admires the girl and does not notice the strange changes in her behaviour. However, Marta’s life is threatened when the secret of the girl’s past is reveal.
